Christ showed us that it doesn't matter what a nation does if the leaders are corrupt. The people must recognize the problem. Our government is made up of US. If we are terrible, so shall our government be.

Charity is worthless if given from a self-righteous attempt to look down on others. If it is given in love, it has value. Love is not always easy.

Christ died to free us from our own evils, through love. His generation chose Barabas over their Savior, despite being told when he would come (Daniel 9:25). There was a reason the founding fathers said it would take a god fearing nation to preserve what we were given.

It wasn't just just "his generation" that chose Barabas, unless it be assumed that the word "generation" you're using is this Greek word for "generation", which implies as a race

I can tell you that the Anti-Christs will still choose Barabas to this very day, and that is part of knowing them by their fruits.

The Pharisees 'spirit'/bloodline will fire a Christian for reporting sexual assault, and then keep the the guy who did the sexual assault on the payroll.

They still walk among us.

Those bloodlines that hated Jesus (aka "the Truth", and "righteousness") are all still out here walking around in flesh suits.

The people who wanted Jesus crucified as still alive and well, and are largely celebrated by today's "evangelicals".
