I see all these posts about Dems building walls and calling in the guard to defend the inauguration... My understanding is that these calls all must come from the POTUS. Biden has hired his OWN private security firm for 1.7+ million dollars.

My question is - what in the hell is going on? Trump is silent on it. No one is really talking about it much. It looks like Iraq in Washington DC and we are supposed to be having an "inauguration" in 4 days. No matter how you cut it, something is fucky here.
