Oh my gosh! Was thinking of this not even 30 minutes ago! This came to mind:
"Repay no one evil for evil. Have[a] regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY," SAYS THE LORD. (Romans 12:17)
It really does hurt my heart. I am a grown man and cried like a baby the other day after watching a montage of President Trump's accomplishments. It hurt to understand all the unjust abuse he has taken for doing good (illegal investigations, unfounded accusations, attacks on his family, attack on his lively hood, I could go on) without anyone being held accountable.
"How long, Lord, will the wicked, how long will the wicked be jubilant?" - Psalms 94:3
And as a Christian couldn't help but think of Christ's suffering.
I was thinking Moses. eg. we're at the Red Sea, and even some of us are yelling at Moses "why did you bring us here to die?". I'm really hoping the Red Sea parts soon. Pharaoh is almost here.
Yeah, it’s crazy the parallels. The largest was both being ousted/crucified by your enemies and those you thought were your allies (Romans are to Dems what Jews are to GOP).
I can see the parallels. I can also see how the way he has been treated has opened people's eyes to what's really going on, who our politicians really are, and in turn how the bible is the way forward. Though at the moment I struggle with asking the Lord to forgive those who would have harm heaped upon us because of their pre-delections for evil and vile sin. Should we ask the Lord to forgive evil? I'd be thankful for bible reference on this from those who know more of God's Word than me.
Been reading the Bible a lot more lately and I try to make myself not to connect the likenesses in the Bible to modern day. It is very difficult to do. Almost everything I read relates. I know that President Trump is not perfect. I also know that in the Bible no men are. President Trump may not be the perfect man, but may be perfect for the job that God requires him to do. I will say that this forum has become increasingly in favor of Jesus in the last couple of years, which could mean something. God Bless you, yours, and everyone who believes.
Awesome! I was just chrismated into the Orthodox Church......the beautiful Body of Christ on earth. The church militant!

Thank you for this.

Thank you for all this. I will enjoy the research and understanding more.
