As a reminder I got fired from my job a week ago Friday accused of going to a Trump rally and going to the Jan 6 protest that I did not go to either. Don’t get me wrong I was trying hard to go to the Jan 6 protest! Talked to an attorney yesterday and there is absolutely nothing I can do. Ohio is a right to work state. They don’t even need to give you a reason. Never been written up in all my years of working there and with just a bunch of lies, I loose my job! Being on some of these sights has given me some sense of strength thank you all for the support. Will need to fight for my unemployment though

Isn’t that discrimination based on political affiliation or beliefs? That is a civil right. I’m surprised that the lawyer said it was legal. I really wonder what the ACLU would say

Based on what they've been doing the last 10 years?
The ACLU won't care unless OP is Black (or any color save white, and gay), and a registered Democrat, and that the owner of the company that fired him is a registered Republican.

Even then, most of the money will, as it usually does in lawsuits, go to line the pockets of the lawyers for both sides.
