As a reminder I got fired from my job a week ago Friday accused of going to a Trump rally and going to the Jan 6 protest that I did not go to either. Don’t get me wrong I was trying hard to go to the Jan 6 protest! Talked to an attorney yesterday and there is absolutely nothing I can do. Ohio is a right to work state. They don’t even need to give you a reason. Never been written up in all my years of working there and with just a bunch of lies, I loose my job! Being on some of these sights has given me some sense of strength thank you all for the support. Will need to fight for my unemployment though

Right to work has nothing to do with it.
Right to work means you have a right to work without union backing.
You're talking about 'at will' work. And, if you have no disciplinary actions taken against you at your work, then you have a decent chance to sue.
It sounds like you talked to an attorney that gave you the runaround. I'd recommend talking to another attorney as they're either dragging their feet, or incompetent and doesn't understand what the difference is between 'right to work' and 'at will employment'.
You said you didn't go to the rally. I assume you have no write ups/citations at work. They cannot let you go because of your personal beliefs. That's discrimination.
At will employees can be terminated for any reason or no reason at all so long as the reason isnt based on a protected classification such as race, gender, religion, national origin. Political affiliation is not a protected classification.
Outside of circumstances indicating any kind of good cause employment contract or expectancy, or discrimination based on protected class status, sadly there is no recourse.
