The left bastardized 2 of our nation’s core principles beyond the point of all recognition:
Equality.
Used to mean “Equality of Treatment”.
The left has ruined this to where they now claim equality means “Equality of Outcome” (Cultural Marxism). This means treating people differently based on their skin color or gender (racism and sexism) according to (in their minds) “correct” against “historical racism and sexism”. So their grand plan is to fight alleged racism and sexism... with explicit racism and sexism. But don’t worry, this is “good” racism and sexism because it’s helping people allegedly “oppressed”! Don’t treat people as individuals, treat them as monolithic identity groups that need to be divided and coddled. Just don’t think about it critically, they’re definitely not throwing gasoline on the fire.
Freedom.
Used to mean “Free To” do whatever you wanted as long as it didn’t physically harm someone else.
The left has ruined this to where they now claim it means “Free From” anything that hurts their feelings, because having hurt feelings is “harm” and harm is violence! Also, silence now equals violence!
