Can confirm. Sauce: am fellow German pede

The only hope I got left after this years massive rallies with 1 million plus attendees in Berlin but still no change is the simple fact that money is running out in many peoples pockets and bank accounts, that have not felt the matter pressing enough to actually study the subject and maybe make their concerns heard in public. Germans are so cucked and naive that they will only get into action once their fridge runs out and there is nowhere to buy new food or money to buy it with. Thats the sad state of affairs. "Luckily" Merkel and a few ministers have announced that they want to close to down EVERYTHING, supermarkets, offices, trains, trams, anything still open for "a couple of weeks." They will announce their decision after talking to the other heads of states this Tuesday. I hope at least food riots will get people into action if nothing else suffices.
