I know firsthand that it is not easy. I quit big tech on my own because I did not like where things were headed. It was a question I had to answer to in interviews going forward. You will find there are still a lot of based companies that respect people that stand for the truth. Usually smaller companies but still many looking for honest people.

The only way to fix this situation is with the truth. Stop posting about companies without naming them. The truth is an absolute defense. You will not lose and you will find the threats to be empty as long as you are telling the truth.

My boss was calling our thanksgiving turkey “DJT” while mutilating it with a knife. Weird. I quit two weeks later after she banned “country music” from being played at work. Besides there are more than just one shipping company, they are NOT the only ones.

Wow, what a bunch of spiteful psychos. It's hard to imagine any conservative doing something like that with the turkey.

I noticed she had internal issues. I’m assuming her overkill was due to her own hidden crimes growing up in a trailer in the backwoods of Atlanta. The idiots at the table laughing were too stupid to see it the same way I did.

What company did you quit? I'm looking to work for a based company. How do you find one?

I quit HP after seeing the monitoring of the internet in 2012. I had worked for IBM before that. I now work for a smaller software company that is full of 40 to 60 year olds. All anyone cares about is getting the job done, like in the old days.

All I did was put my resume out there and started getting flooded with interview requests. I made sure in the interviews to make the company understand that I am all about being truthful. I could tell which interviews were good based on their reactions to me talking about honesty. It is pretty easy to spot. I narrowed it down to those companies I felt were a good fit for me and picked one.

Make sure you are the boss of the interviews. They need to show you that they are on the same page as you. Honesty shines bright and you will be able to tell which ones are being honest to you in the interview.

Thanks! I'm going to try this method. It makes perfect sense.

It really is that simple. We get caught up in making things more complicated than they need to be.

You missed my point. That is a very real consequence but those people are not the people hiring at good companies.
