I raised my children as Christians, they went to private Christian school Elementary through Middle and moved to Public school for High school. The area where I live is a small suburban community and most families are well off, homes range 500k and up on average in this little area.

One of my daughters was at her friends house -- Mom is a realtor, regular soccer Mom kinda lady, lives in a McMansion with a pool, nothing irregular at first glance -- your typical Karen. So my daughter is talking with her friend and her mother. Out of the blue religion comes up in the discussion. Her mother says that she doesn't care what religion her daughter chooses so long as she's not a Christian. Then her mother casually says that she's a wicken and Halloween is her favorite holiday .... like it's just meh, no big deal.

At that point, I asked my daughter to no longer associate with this family. But it really opened my eyes that this is out there and we blindly live amongst it. Just my two cents to keep an open mind.

Yup they're obsessed with demonic worship and zombies and shit...

They are consumed by Satan, this shit is real... There's a lot of people who don't believe it. They just aren't willing to

They are obsessed with the laws of power.

Christians choose to give God control. They hate that, it also makes it hard for them to indoctrinate Christians

Man, I feel the Holy Spirit dwell up in me when you say that. God is good and the only one deserving of the honor and glory.

Satanists suck. They have to do weird stuff with salt, strings, chickens. It’s bizarre. And Satan doesn’t even care about them. He’s using them to accomplish his ends and then all those humans will burn with him in hell. He’s evil (obviously).

Believers have total access to God instantly through sincere relationship with our friend & King Jesus. ❤️ We get to be TouchPoints of love, compassion, healing and delivering power from God. What a humble honor.

This is why China is making such a big deal out of creating their own version of Christianity.

They want the benefits of Christianity but without the devotion to a higher power other than the state.

The public education system especially from HS on up is designed to separate people from God and religion. They use evolution to do it, history to do it. Many ways. I know several people who were raised in Christian schools until HS or college and one way or another they have become anti Christian. Then take a look at media and culture. It's everywhere.

Christian Sober Pede here.

Most these people just wanna be cool edgy and different. I'm all for freedom of religion. Really. But 99% of them are full of shit. In Florida we still have meetings opened up.

So there's this kid who's been coming around, early mid 20s. He's got a weird vibe to him. He's wearing a necklace of Baphomet first time I meet him. And the next day he's got a rosary.

He's got a tattoo on his left hand which looks like the symbol of satanism, it look at the Google play symbol and the glyph side by side.

When we did the Our Father he looked visibly uncomfortable like he was holding a poop. (every meeting is different but here it is the closing prayer of many 12 step mtgs if not the serenity prayer or whatev.) you see some people don't wanna say it because of their history or ideas of religion or the church.

This kid looked visibly uncomfortable.

I really think there is a devil and forces of evil because of this world and what I've seen in it.

On that satanic glyph tattoo (Those infographics that show the FBI pedo symbols and in-plain-sight satanic imagery? Like the Democrat 2020 sign that looked like it was a pentagram? They line up for face book logos and the like, digressing.)

Personally I'm agnostic but seeing all the hate, deception, and arrogance coming from not just the left but our political class is like... wtf

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie

Seems like a reasonable explanation at this point

Haha wiccans a re fucking joke. Adult ones are a laughingstock. Fucking grow up. It's a modgepodge of religions and was made up in the 50's. It's just girl power bullshit. The magic is a joke, it's nothing more than group prayer, they are kidding themselves just thinking they are some secret fringe group that's totally different than other religions.

4
Godfrey_of_Bouillon 4 points ago +4 / -0

Lol this is what I think too. They are just continuing their dungeons and dragons LARP out into the real world. Not saying they aren't fucking evil, but they definitely are fucking losers.

7
CloakAndDagger 7 points ago +10 / -3

*Wiccan, not wicken

Wiccans are not satanists, they're a mother nature, tree-hugging hippie wannabe circle of loonies. "Healing energy from the forest" kind of rituals. It's definitely bullshit but not malicious in the sense that theistic satanists are.

9
ProphetOfKek 9 points ago +11 / -2

Satan doesn’t care what lie you believe as long as you believe a lie.

-1
CloakAndDagger -1 points ago +3 / -4

That statement is true - for those who believe in Christianity. If you want to truly find out the truth then don't start from a position that you know you're not going to change either way. That is merely shooting first, painting the target later.

1
superwookee 1 point ago +1 / -0

Unless you decide on a standard by which to measure yourself your measurements will always be worthless. Scripture is the true measuring stick of life, prove me wrong.

0
CloakAndDagger 0 points ago +1 / -1
  1. Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

  2. I don't have to prove you wrong in the same vein I don't have to prove a Muslim wrong if he claims that the Quran is the true measuring stick of life (or a Jew when he says it is the Torah/Talmud, etc).

You guys have never heard of the burden of proof. Until you give proof why your book is the good book and all the other books are bad, your beliefs will forever receive a shrug of the shoulder from me at most, because I'm not going to place it anywhere.

"the bible is true because the bible said so" aight champ. You win the grand prize of theology.

1
superwookee 1 point ago +1 / -0

So what standard do you measure your life by?

2
CloakAndDagger 2 points ago +2 / -0

Now THAT'S a reasonable response. And a good question at that. More people should ask themselves that question without having a pre-printed answer sheet.

Personally... I try to stay true to my conscience and commitments to all things I hold dear in this world - ideology, homeland, friends, etc. In high school, I used to give my sandwiches to a particular homeless guy who said he was a poet and I even listened to some of his writings. He had a long, green coat and used to sleep on a bench at a bus stop. In university I saved a stray kitten from a ditch on the street by scooping him up and going from house from house, asking the old ladies if they knew someone who could take him in. I'd like to think both of those deeds were <good>.

But there are virtues other than compassion too. Standing fast in the face of adversity. Staying true to one's words even under pressure of greed and pain. Willing to sacrifice yourself for some greater thing you believe in (Nike didn't invent that). Always repaying others in kind.

Aiming for strength in body, strength in mind and strength in spirit. I think these are overarching human virtues of history. Most cultures valued them, regardless of their other beliefs.

I often fall short of these goals, but then I steel myself and try again. You might say that reading the Bible could help me reach them more easily, I suppose. I have heard that before.

Are you satisfied with my answer?

1
superwookee 1 point ago +1 / -0

Ideology - what ideology and why? What ideological standard do you measure by?

Homeland? why is that important? By what standard?

Why did the homeless man matter more than your own stomach or even your indifference?

Why did the kitten matter in any way if anything can and cannot matter based on the standard you choose to measure by?

If you define <good> then <good> is only your measurement against . . .

So you list other things you perceive as virtuous because people before you defined them as virtuous (You presume to argue that we should not consider Scripture as valid then argue that those that came before us should decide our morality. Exactly what Scripture is)

We have no power, no righteousness, no goodness. We are creatures of wrath who bring nothing but putrescence to the table.

"But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." Romans 3:21-24

The only goodness on earth is from God. Everything else is fallen. Every pain, every lie, every evil comes from the fall.

The Pope falls short of the glory of God, Trump falls short of the glory of God, I fall short of the glory of God, you fall short of the glory of God.

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 10:9-10

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the most powerful message ever. It transforms lives, communities, states, countries and the world.

This is why I choose the Holy Bible as the standard against which I measure my life.

From what you've said you already consider the western standards of virtue pulled directly from Scripture as valid. Maybe all of it is valid?

Worth a thought.

The more isolated ones/smaller groups are more passive, but the larger groups can get quite malicious seem to always delve into satanistic practices. It's becoming quite the thing here in Oregon and several churches have had to have police intervention to protect them from some wiccan groups.

2
CloakAndDagger 2 points ago +2 / -0

That is possible. I live far away from Oregon.

2
INeedABunker 2 points ago +2 / -0

There's a strong anti-christian attitude here so it could be another case of someone taking advantage of a larger group and pitting them against said someone's enemy.

2
JKillen 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm all for positive thinking and good vibes.

The Bible, I was happy to learn, is full of it, proverbs is practically an instruction guide for how to be happy and conduct ones self and view the world even in disparaging times. Jordan Peterson echoes this in his teachings.

1
CloakAndDagger 1 point ago +3 / -2

0
CloakAndDagger 0 points ago +1 / -1

How is quoting verbatim from the Bible anti-Christian?

“Give them, O LORD–what will You give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.” (Hosea 9:14)

The people of Samaria must bear their guilt, because they have rebelled against their God. They will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to the ground, their pregnant women ripped open. (Hosea 13:16)

At that time Menahem, starting out from Tirzah, attacked Tiphsah and everyone in the city and its vicinity, because they refused to open their gates. He sacked Tiphsah and ripped open all the pregnant women. (2 Kings 15:16)

Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey. (1 Samuel 15:3)

Happy is he who repays you for what you have done to us. He who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks. (Psalms 137:8-9)

“Have you allowed all the women to live?” he asked them. “They were the ones who followed Balaam’s advice and enticed the Israelites to be unfaithful to the Lord in the Peor incident, so that a plague struck the Lord’s people. Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man. (Numbers 31:15-18)

He cast on them the fierceness of His anger, Wrath, indignation, and trouble, By sending angels of destruction among them. He made a path for His anger; He did not spare their soul from death, But gave their life over to the plague, And destroyed all the firstborn in Egypt, The first of their strength in the tents of Ham. (Psalm 78:49-51)

Just like how quoting from the Quran can't be Islamophobic, quoting from the Bible can't be anti-Christian. Blame the sick motherfuckers who wrote it. Although I bet you never even knew about these parts - most fanatics have never read their own scripture.

The Old Testament would be toilet paper, but I don't want to rub filth on my ass!

1
LibDestroyer50000 1 point ago +2 / -1

The issue is that you aren't making a real point. You cherry pick verses and put them out of context just to shit on Christianity. The US is a christian nation at heart, and DJT is also a christian. If you want to come in here spewing your bile, you're gonna get deported faster than you can say "EXCOMMUNICATED". Also, you'll enjoy a fiery afterlife with your assumed hero RBG. Now, be a good satanist and do like I said: F U C K O F F.

  1. Typical fundamentalist incapable of critical thinking: everyone in the world is EITHER another zealot fundamentalist like you OR a practicing theistic satanist. I'm far from either one, but my beliefs are none of your business and I doubt you could even understand what I'm talking about.

  2. "REEEE you showed me proof from the bible and I got cognitive dissonance, so I'm going to use the MUH CONTEXT fallacy reee!"

You are just like muslims who get salty when I point out that their Quran is full of murderous bullshit. "bUt lOoK At tHe cOnTeXt" - pathetic!

  1. I don't care about whether the USA or Trump is a Christian or not. That is not relevant to the argument at hand, and facts don't care about your feelings, wink wink The fact is that these are real quotes and God loves dead newborns in the Old Testament.

  2. Typical fundamentalist zealot wishing to silence every dissenting voice. You are no better than Jack dorsey banning every conservative. Two sides of the same coin.

and finally, 5: fuck off? make me, altar boy.

1
Scooby721 1 point ago +2 / -1

Could you enlighten us with chapter and verse of this please? Along with the CONTEXT of those verses? Thank you. You made a claim and called it "Fact." Now back it up please, and don't forget to explain to us the CONTEXT of those verses as well. Thanks.

0
CloakAndDagger 0 points ago +1 / -1

You wish. I'm not your bible study. You can check out my comment to the other guy (if you can't find it, go to my profile and look for it among my comments), in which I quoted 7 verses and their sources from the Old Testament in which God or his chosen people are involved in baby killing. That alone proves my statement and makes it indeed a fact, because I never stated anything else in my original comment. Ergo, whatever extra conclusion you assigned to it was in your own head, and it is probably telling.

Using "muh context" to justify stuff like God commanding the israelites to specifically kill all infants of the Amalekites is insane mental gymnastics, on the level of libs inventing 76 other genders. "Cognitive dissonance reduction" pops up anywhere where there are contradictory beliefs, which is of course many places on the left... but on the right, it is most prevalent among those Christians (the majority of which are Evangelicals, I suppose) who choose to center their life around the Bible.

The Old Testament is bloodthirsty garbage.

1
Scooby721 1 point ago +1 / -0

So I looked at the verses you listed. Half of which I already were familiar with. But yet you refuse to even try to put them in the context they were written in. Which tells us that you are just another bitter, anti-Christian asshole who wants to use verses pulled out of their context to try and justify your own sad and empty belief system instead of taking the time to actually learn what those passages mean in their context. You are going to claim "Fact" but then not even bother to show any of us why they are "fact". You may as well have just said "Statement." Because of your unwillingness to show us why those are "facts" as you claim, anything you say on here has no credibility.

1
CloakAndDagger 1 point ago +1 / -0

Aight, there's your cognitive dissonance reduction. I provided the statements, which speak for themselves - if you claim that context exists which could give them a new meaning, then it is YOUR job to provide that context. The burden of proof for proving a command like "dash infants against a rock" is not advocating baby killing is ON YOU.

Now, I would be genuinely curious if someone could mention ANY kind of context in which a command like that is acceptable. For me, it is never acceptable.

By the way, food for thought - I never said I'm NOT a Christian. All I said is the OT is garbage. Bet you thought those two are mutually exclusive, eh? It proves you have a lot to learn about the world.

Nah wiccans are just lefty atheist LARPers that think they're being edgy by rejecting Christianity because the TV or their university professor told them it's the religion of white males.

Wicca was invented by some leftist feminazi in the 1960's and is just a mishmash of pre-christian pagan beliefs and rituals. What's funny is most of cultures she culturally appropriated from were patriarchal but she repurposed it for some grrrlpower mother earth bullshit.

I guarantee you that's what most "satanists" are edgy atheist larpers too.

Young adults that have left home are susceptible to this type of stuff too. My youngest daughter was homeschooled, raised as a Christian and often kept me in check in my Christian walk. She got married 2 years ago, moved to Japan with military husband and the last time I talked to her she was talking about how wiccan's aren't bad, she is now exploring this "religion". I am stunned tbh.

1
Klown_Schwab 1 point ago +1 / -0

lmao if she's in Japan she should at least convert to Shinto or Zen Buddhism those are at least real religions

Wicca was made up in the 1960's by some cringe feminist LARPer. Childish nonsense.

just my $.02, wiccans and Luciferian arent the same I don't think.

I went to a wiccan, gathering or whatever you wanna call it once, for my own interest, just to see what it was all about.

It was like going to a environmentalist rally. Nothing really bizarre about it. They sat around and talked about 'mother earth' and shit like that and how all the elements serve a purpose, this, that, and the third, becoming one with nature, that sorta shamanistic kinda shit. Nothing evil, demonic, or nefarious about my visit. Granted I only went once, but it was actually a positive experience. I never went back because my curiosity was curbed; I didn't have a reason to ever go back.

I will say this however, at the end of the gathering, they did some ritualistic dance where everyone kinda held hands and skipped around in a figure 8 pattern when the woman leading the ceremony was chanting "earth, fire, wind, return, return, return" or some shit like that. That was the only part I thought was strange, but I suppose its no stranger than any other place of worship if you're coming from the outside looking in.

superwookee 1 point ago +1 / -0

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:8

You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12

1

Lol wiccans are nothing more than larpers pretending to be "esoteric suburbanites". They're the healing crystal, hugs and kindness, tree loving gen x/millennial types that aged. They aren't satanists, they're just retarded lol

1
EllemenoP 1 point ago +1 / -0

While its true that Satan has his claws in every grift there is, we have to be careful of focusing too much on the larping goof balls who say they are witches, satanists, etc., Often these just serve as red herrings for diversion purposes. Satan spends much more time in the Vatican as a bishop, or as a televangelist, or as a secular charity activist, than at weekly ritual meet ups to sacrifice chickens, etc. Christ said the king of this age is Lucifer. Meaning, he's not in hell, he dwells here on earth, seeking to deceive and devour, and usually does it by wearing a mask of false righteousness.

1
futuregodemperor 1 point ago +1 / -0
