It’s a metaphor. The “fire” is the election fraud he drew our attention to. He said that the election was stolen. That is an extremely serious charge, and if true, justifies many unusual remedies up to and including the people rising up and deposing the usurpers.

Trump never called for an insurrection or violence, I agree.

In this case, the crowd is a metaphor for the American people as a whole, and the building is our republic. How about we put the fire out?
