At work last week they were testing the active shooter alarm. The funny thing is, I've worked there 10 years, and I've never heard it before. People started walking outside trying to figure out what the hell that siren was. They told us later what it was. They said they forgot to put out the notice that this was an active shooter alarm test. This is on a Coast Guard base.
