Yeah. The M68 sight (which is a close combat optic, not a scope.) is small. We store them in either direction. It’ll get moved to the top rail.

Zero iron sights and “lollipop” the red dot on top of the front sight post. Worked for me in Afghanistan 🤷🏼‍♂️

Magazines.

Clip holds ammunition in a way that helps facilitate putting ammunition into the magazine. The magazine holds for and presents ammunition to the action for feeding into the chamber.

Technically speaking assault rifle comes from sturmgewehr, a propaganda name used by Hitler to scare the allies. So ARs are not nazi propaganda, correct. They’re a symbol of freedom and ingenuity.

Also you’re correct, the bullet is the projectile, a cartridge is the complete assembly that is ready to be used. Known as ammunition.
