Hosting a site really isn't that expensive tbh. - For this site, with as much traffic as it gets, with the amount of data it gets, and the fact its all just text or images?
Probably $2k-$4k a month for hosting costs. Unless they have the hardware and are colocating, then drop that down to like $800.
Not sure how you could do much cheaper than that though, unless someone is giving you free internet with a couple 2gbps+ connections.
The expensive part is all the labor for custom coding and NOC.
