I am lucky enough that my natural body odor from a single day's work doesn't merit antiperspirants? So I use only regular deodorant.
Antiperspirants clog your pores to reduce perspiration that leads to offensive body odor, skin tags are your body's overreaction to clogged pores.
Not everyone gets skin tags, just like not everyone's body odor is strong.
Tip: dont trust yourself to know if your body odor is "strong" or "offensive." Find a friend/family member that's an asshole (i.e. honest) and ask him/her.
Tldr:
Skin tags = deodorants without antiperspirant
Strong natural body odor and skin tags = antiperspirant AND deodorant, your SOL dealing with the skin tags.
Strong body odor alone = antiperspirant AND deodorant
What do you add to it?
You may be adding an antiperspirant ingredient.
You may also be more sensitive than most people.
Try switching soap to a exfoliant. Most soaps are not exfoliants, exfoliants relieve dry itchy skin and clean pores better. May help get the old deodorant out. Also try using less deodorant.

Yeah, I'm kinda sad that I just looked this up. Now I gotta find a new brand. Hopefully there's some "craft brew" deodorants!

Stay away from the candle ladies or the horse people. That is my advice
Dove is worse than gilette.. You didnt see their commercial with the man who drwsses like a woman and stays home while his wife works.. Look it up.

By yourself some drysol or certain dry and never sweat again.
Get some of that bamboo deodorant Mitchum stuff works good doesn't have any aluminum in it. Owned by Revlon don't know if there cool or not.
