Awesome, I deactivated mine, I am still using messenger for a bit to exchange contact info with Facebook friends. Once that’s done I am permanently deleting it. I deleted Instagram and canceled Amazon prime. I got a protonmail account and I am in the process of getting rid of my gmail. I am following all my dudes on alt tech and trying to avoid YouTube as much as possible. Never had Twitter.

When it stopped being a dating and party matching service for college students, it stopped being good.

My wife and I both deleted our Facebook accounts 3+ months ago. She never had a Twitter account and I deleted mine in 2016 right after President Trump was elected. Twitter is the biggest cesspool of them all.

I had the pleasure of being completely obliterated from FuckBook without even so much as a warning or a notice.....I stayed off for years until I decided to use it again this past year to post an article, ask people to look over info and think , or just a meme or 2....Went to log in one day after maybe just 2 months of using again and could not even find my account , friends I was connected with said I literally disappeared from their friend lists. Hated FB to start with but at least wanted to open up some eyes...anyone else have a similar experience at all ( this happened about 3 months ago ) ?

Removing social media is key for survival going forward. We survived for centuries before social media and we were even able to stay in contact with friends, family, and out community using church, phone calls, and letters or email. We now have the ability to have video calls, instant message, text, call, and more with ease. We no longer need social media. We need social skills. They will be absolutely viral moving forward.

And that is again why i banned Smartphones in my houses living room or dining room, and why family members hardly ever drop by so win win for me.
