The problem for these idiots that they don't realize is that we DON'T NEED them to make entertainment for us. We have access to all the entertainment in the world's history.

Decentralized, local sports are way better. High school football has slot-T, veer, flexbone, spread offenses, less commercial breaks, more wide open play (field seems bigger because players are smaller), non-generic colorful announcers, etc.

Texas and Louisiana seem to have the best production talent so far as the community broadcast phenomenon develops in those football heavy states. I get a NFHSNetwork subscription during football season. If you can't personally attend a good game then you can usually find one on their network. There are some crappy high school teams but the top 10% teams execute as well as major colleges do in Texas and their QBs are 12 month/year coached up talented.

Springtime I get a Sidearm sports subscription for a local mid major college baseball team. They are usually a top 30 program (out of 330 NCAA baseball teams) and I can attend their games for $7 plus free parking if I wish.

Like I said, local is the way to go and the technology is aiding that shift.
