Read the book Ghost Wars: The Secret History of the CIA, Afghanistan, and Bin Laden, from the Soviet Invasion to September 10, 2001.

It goes into great detail about how our government armed, instructed, funded, provided intelligences, etc., to the Afghan rebel forces as a covert means to fight the Soviets.

The Deep State regularly backs terrorist groups to destabilize and overthrow governments overseas. BLM and ANTIFA were used for those exact same purposes to destabilize the country as yet another attack vector in an effort to unseat the Trump administration.

That is why there was never a crackdown. That is why they received air cover in the MSM. That is why they have corporate donors and all sorts of backers. They were being used as a weapon.

But much like the Afghan rebels who "became Al Quaeda", BLM and ANTIFA are a genie that is now out of the bottle. They are a Frankenstein monster that will turn on their master. Those who believed in the empty rhetoric and the fiction that social justice would prevail with the removal of Trump are all about to be met with mass disappointment.

These groups are driven by pathological hate for the very structure of western civilization and will never be satisfied. They are going to get even more aggressive in the years to come and this will be a huge conundrum for the Biden administration.
