Considering the stabbing problems over there.. You'd think they realize it doesn't take much for someone to end their life. I've seen vids of one guy with a knife going on a stabbing spree and 10 mins latter nothing but dead bodies except for him because they were unarmed.
To be fair, the knife problem over here is limited mostly to bits of London and the black gangs fighting each other. It's like the "gun problem" in Chicago.
That's fair, I just assume it has to give the issue increased exposure and awareness.
I understand the point of view for disarming the people from the left. But its as if they naively believe government will be benevolent for the rest of time despite all the historical evidence to the contrary.
It happens so fast as well. If you've ever seen a group of guys with knives or machetes kill someone.. You would pray you had firepower by your side and enough ammo capacity to deal with the problem.

yes a knife is just as deadly, if not more so, especially if someone knows how to use one to kill.
