Another thing they do is list the total gun deaths, wailing in horror. Of the total gun deaths, something like 60% are from suicide, which is heartbreaking but has nothing to do with the method chosen. Of the actual gun deaths from homicide, the vast majority are from drug and gang violence. They usually kill other gang members, but sometimes just start shooting each other in the street and kill innocent bystanders. There is no gun violence epidemic in this country. There is a gang/drug problem, most of which is isolated to certain areas of certain cities.

And oddly enough those cities tend to have had a certain party in power for decades.
