I've got a good friend living in the mtns above Bogota and one of my NYC pedes recently jumped ship to go live there.

I'd be tempted to follow if their covid-1984 lockdowns weren't so severe. 1 person per family allowed out at a time. Only 2 hrs, 2 days per week, depends on last digit of passport. Panama and Costa Rica were just as bad.

🤣 plebs don’t believe in lockdowns. That’s why they are so strict. The people have not been listening. They cough on each other and pack the busses. Shits bad everywhere. If we are riding out end of days I just think Colombia has infinite food and water. Could be a good option.

It's a great option! I've never been there but spent a couple years in CR and Panama. Great people, easy living. I was just shocked to see the gov crack down like that, but you give a good explanation.
