So I’m not the only one who finds it very odd !! Why wouldn’t Patrick B or others be on his team all the good fighters are outsiders And all the insiders are borderline pathetic Besides Rudy of course ‘!!

I'm wondering if the problem isn't Trump's choices but folks getting extorted and/or threatened.

We know the left does that sort of thing and the swamp knows everything about everybody.

Keeto123 [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Maybe but u think it’s that easy to do that to a president and his supporters If you worked for trump would you stab him over threats?? I wouldn’t. I would rather flee than turn

GA governor had a family member blown when he said he would do signature verification

refused to do so a day afterwards

Because you never can tell who is swamp until they reveal themselves.

Keeto123 [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

That’s a serious problem !! But why do the Dems get it right and have crazy loyal evil soldiers who will steal or kill for asshole Biden Find me one dem in Washington who flipped on Biden Only we get flipped on. I’m sick of it Find a way to hire loyal ppl and if u can’t !!! Your screwed

... and here we are

He's used to the business world where you hire people in good faith and give them an opportunity to excel. He wasn't used to dealing with moles and people actively trying to get hired and deceive him to protect a corrupt system. He wasn't conditioned for that and failed miserably in that regard. What is disappointing is that he talked like he knew that would be the case but never handled things like that was the case. I will cut him SOME slack in the fact that there were many positions where the ONLY people qualified to fill them were corrupt swamp people because that is all there has been for many decades.

idk why this is so hard for ppl to understand. he went in against establishment. do you think they would recommend to him ppl to help him or hinder him? what would you do to your enemy?

7
Keeto123 [S] 7 points ago +7 / -0

But he should be smarter Than that He should have a way to pass the smell test and have loyal peeps with him. Either test them out secretly idk. But without a solid team u have zero chance

-2
poconopede -2 points ago +1 / -3

easy for you to say lol conservatives have this sacred sense of the constitution and it has this POWER like the democrats have this idea of DEMOCRACY. they both require ppl to care about their integrity. they nuked flynn, held him up with russia stuff, tried to turn the population against him with corp. media. been against the machine from the beginning. he was smart enough to use their own tools against them.

1
Keeto123 [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

My point exactly. If he had a loyal circle they couldn’t do that to him But the Dems know they have everyone working with them except for trump and a few senators/house. Literally a handful MAX!!

3
mythbusterr 3 points ago +4 / -1

So why did he keep most of them employed for 4 years?

3
poconopede 3 points ago +3 / -0

you think they would rat each other out? they lied about how many troops were overseas so he wouldn't pull them. these arent good ppl. the state is not a good entity.

1
mythbusterr 1 point ago +1 / -0

after a few months, you can tell someone is working against you.

1
poconopede 1 point ago +1 / -0

now do corp. media. and he does have a good list of accomplishments.

this is not how politics works at all lol monarchies maybe

2
Lamech_Slade 2 points ago +2 / -0

Cause all of DC is that bad...

Everything in the GOP establishment is rotten.

2
Keeto123 [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

It’s prob the only answer that makes sense Every one in dc is a potential slime ball up for the take and because trump doesn’t bribe or get muscled he losses the battle to others who do offer bribes and pressure Which means he can not work with politicians because hey play a completely different game than he plays with

2
Keeto123 [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Especially your VP !!!! Pence was going against trump from the start of those emails are real Who has trump picked in DC on his official staff that actually fights fro him mark meadows?

Keeto123 [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

And I’m not referring to Rudy or the few good peeps I’m talking over all

1
CalKat 1 point ago +1 / -0

Two reasons:

  1. Would you have known how truly evil some of these people were if he didn't shove them under the spotlight for all the world to see? No.
  2. It has been said that Trump was never "bankrupt." Instead, at one point in time, he needed to know who was genuinely loyal in his circle, so he said he had no money. He was surprised at the results. Some he thought would be loyal were not loyal. Some he thought would not be loyal were loyal. This is not his first game of "cat and mouse." He knows how this has to be played.

I would hope he wouldn’t be that stupid to let ppl handicap him from the go

1
Letstrythisagain 1 point ago +1 / -0

Do we really think Pence was planning to betray Trump all along? Like, he knew the election would be stolen?

More likely he was a good man who caved to immense pressure.

Same can be said about a lot of so-called "traitors."

These are family men with faith in institutions and law. They aren't of the caliber of our founding fathers.

What people here don't seem to realize is that public opinion, fear of an establishment-controlled law enforcement, corrupt judges, all factor into otherwise good men's decisions not to step up.

Good times breed weak men Weak men breed bad times <- we are here Bad times breed good men Good men breed good times

1
mythbusterr 1 point ago +1 / -0

I gave him a pass in the beginning, understanding that favors have to be repaid and such. But man, after a couple of months, you can tell someone is subverting your agenda.

1
retardmonkey 1 point ago +2 / -1

He knows. DC is literally the Swamp, so there's not a lot of people to choose from. He lets the Swamp Creatures in, he let's them expose themselves, and then he forces them to step down.

If he had done that from the very beginning he would have had to liquidate over 90% of the government, which would have been ready hard to do from day 1. He put people in positions, he made them stepped down, and he cleaned house for 4 years in order to get to this point.

1
nuhbin 1 point ago +2 / -1

anti-establishment candidates don't have a stable of professional government/think-tank/lobbyist bureaucrats lined up to fill the thousands of executive branch positions

he fell back on preibus and Spicer to recommend republicans

most of those people are institutionalists who will sell out an America first agenda in a heartbeat if it means maintaining the revolving door of jobs for their friends and family

In some cases he had no choice because the Senate needed to approve who would get appointed. I suspect he had a deal with McConnell and probably a couple other key players where they'd get to sign off on hires and in exchange they'd aid Trump on policy and in blocking Dem attempts to bring him down. Bannon did an interview a while back where he discussed the early days how he and Trump butted heads over Trump’s choosing from within the DC circles instead of going and bringing in people from outside DC or even political circles. If I remember right I think part of Trumps reasoning was people already accepted in DC would be able to move faster and didn't need to waste time setting up connections and figuring out who they can trust, whereas an outsider would be looked down on, ignored and backstabbing constantly making their efforts fruitless.

DC swamp people may have internal divisions that Trump was able to use to advance what he could but like most powerful and corrupt communities they will team up against outsiders trying to do things like make sure the law gets enforced on said DC swamp people, and undermine attempts to change the rules and transparency in DC by people brought in without the communities approval.

Honestly this thinking is why I'm starting to think its better if Trump doesn't fix this with the IA (although I think Biden needs to be put in jail before he gets back into power) and instead those of us on this site or any freedom loving person to start running for whatever position we feel comfortable trying for whether it be a local, state or federal office to start changing the mindset and environment from within and making sure we have the numbers to engrain those changes so future generations can enjoy an America that has genuine freedom, less government interference and less costly corruption so they may pursue their happiness, and so we can upgrade our constitution to include amendments that reduces the ability for people like today's bad actors from gaining so much control again, and IMO so we can add an essential amendment that makes the SC bound to make rulings based only on the constitution as its written and clearly intended, no more of this creative interpretations or claiming lack of standing, if they are going to be the final say on the constitution then they should be bound by the intention of those that wrote the different bits of the constitution, not this current method of coming up with clever arguments that lead to rulings that are clearly not what the constitution allowed for.

1
Keeto123 [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0
