Yes. The Commander of the DC Guard is a Trump appointee. He knows the DC Guard is mostly Bureaucrats, who work at Federal Agencies, and if Republican, mostly RINOs who are never going to obey orders that might threaten their hoped for double dip career as a bureaucrat and then as a consultant of whatever industry they regulate.
HE brought in National Guard from all over the country. The Mayor doesn't, and certainly Pelosi doesn't, have that authority. These Guardsmen are farmers, mechanics, store managers, every day people outside DC.
He's doing shit that no lame duck defeated President would be doing. He's revamping the command chains of the military, forcing NSA Counsels to move aside for his appointees, etc. all in the literal last days of his only term. And Pompeo certainly is stirring the AntiCCP pot like crazy these past few days. So have other agencies. This is prepping the battlefield.
And the Dems are nervous as hell. They're caught between Chinese Kompromat and fear of Trump's Evidence. He already, like the Rat, offered them a way out of "Shaky Ground", but they refused. Now it's probably too late for light treatment. He showed that every normal method of redress has been tried and refused - not rejected on evidence, but rejected on technicalities and sometimes just rejected for no reason.
