I actually start to think it goes both ways. The left call people Nazis a lot but on analysis they match the Nazis.
I think these people do actually study a lot of this stuff and become the enemy. There are people out there who might take things like 1984 as their playbook.
They match the Nazis themselves fundamentally on so many levels it's no longer funny.
All this race stuff for example. The Nazis were also sociologists, created a theory based on racial categorisation then a ranking system which is very much the same as Critical Theory or intersectionalism. They then sought to engineer society in accordance to those theories.

Was he? I know that some Nazi leaders wanted to establish Norse paganism as the state religion of Germany. But from what I've heard Hitler considered himself a Catholic his entire life.
He wanted Catholicism to be converted into some kind of weird "christianity in name only" thing. Think of those "cathedrals" you see in MMOs that are actually to some pantheon instead of God and you get the right idea.
Look up "Modern Fascism" on Amazon. (Yeah, I know we don't like them, but they are a good place to get conservative books.) Gives a good history on the Nazis and what Hitler himself actually wrote about and stood for. Very well researched and cited. He was as much into the wannabe-viking stuff as the rest of them.

It's a mistake to assume that when two sides are fighting they're entirely on the opposite sides. There are many sects of Islam for example that fight viciously among themselves.
It's also a false assumption that Nazis and Communists are always absolutely wrong about everything. Quite often they do react to real problems which is why they can become easily popular but those problems tend to be hard problems to solve and the reactions or attempts only make things much worse. I think people also don't realise that you can have evil people who are evil no matter what they believe.

Reading, studying, and analyzing contemporary documents, newspapers articles from various countries, personal writings of global leaders, etc...will tell you a completely different story. When the president died Hitler took over presidential powers, giving himself full control of all branches of government.
