No I get it. I've made an entire wall of text post about exactly that in the past. If all these house members, senators, and people in various government departments are getting arrested, someone would have to take their place and that process would need to be fleshed out well in advance to avoid unrest. Pretty sure that's what Trump's recent EO's were related to regarding who would take over positions in the energy and finance sectors should some of these people suddenly not be able to fulfill their duties. I'm not stupid. But I also don't think it would take thousands of troops to facilitate something like that. The only ones who are going to be enraged enough to try to attack are leftists who will die immediately.
