Stop wearing masks, break through the prisoners dilemma and overwhelm the public opinion.
Science is on our side, but public opinion needs to shift before mask mandates are done with.

No man I can see it. I wore my mask in my store back until around June, just to keep some jackass from making a scene. I didn’t post any signs saying they needed to be worn. If someone walked in without one I would take mine off.
Yeah, I guess you're right actually. Thinking back now....I may have experienced the same thing.
I went into a gas station about 4 days ago without one and the staff took theirs off and one put hers around her neck when I came in. Them everyone behind me walked in without one like the pandemic, never even happened. So I believe its entirely possible. God bless
Idk, I work at a restaurant/bar. People come in without masks all the time. It doesn't ignite this big liberating epiphany of "omg why are we wearing these masks?!?!?! FREE YOURSELF!!!". People come in without them all the time, no one really notices anymore (unless you're my douchebag coworker who is a rule nazi, except when it comes to drunk driving. You'd think after 4 DUIs you'd start taking that rule seriously).
Even if it's a moment of "oh, this single customer doesn't care if we don't wear masks, i'll take mine off until he leaves/someone else comes in", they're still gonna come in the next day wearing one.
