look at the tech for yourself bro. signal is run on centerlized servers that require phone # to use.

Signal does not guard your identity. It guards the content of your messages.

exactly. and most devices are comprimised to begin with so they see that too Pede!

Tips for the security and clandestinely inclined individuals for effectively using Signal

  1. DO NOT use your real phone number on Signal. Use Burner to set a fake
name and number before registering for Signal.
  2. Disable or Deactivate GPS on phone.
  3. Message using WIFI whenever possible
  4. Route all your WIFI traffic from Signal via TOR Network.
  5. Set Exit Node for TOR to USA, UK, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand. (These countries have extensive protections against electronic intrusion into private computer systems.)

Understand it is nearly impossible to hide from a nation-state. The best one can hope for is to obfuscate your identity and location enough to plausibly deny that you are actually the person they are looking for.

TOR Is COMPROMISED! lol
https://github.com/Attacks-on-Tor/Attacks-on-Tor 13 years of TOR compromises. I encourage you to try and crack lokinet security and sybil attack resistance provided by the OXEN blockchain

Could I say, run this on TAILS?

heavy-hauler [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

fuk yeah! lokinet is network agnostic! bro! Session is just one part of the privacy stack!

Sounds like "Solar Freaking Roadways." Is there any communities that can independently verify it's security or is this juat snake oil trash. Nothing is secure. If you can see what's on your screen, just assume someone else can see your shit too, remotely.

look at the tech for yourself bro. secured by the oxen.io blockchain. runs on top of incentivized service nodes. the fact that the price of the coin hasnt exploded yet should tell you that no one has even attempted to get more than 51% of the nodes required to own a network.

2
Dirk_Diggler 2 points ago +2 / -0

So I am cool as long as there isn't a 51% attack? Pass.

its prohibitivle expensive there by sybil atack ressistant to attack the network. as there is set new coin emission supply thats governed by the blockchain

YouTube is not your friend. Just sayin'

so true. but its important to get the tech out. I'm not member of the marketing team. and all the media is on youtube.

if you value your OPSEC do not use Signal or TOR

3
Dirk_Diggler 3 points ago +3 / -0

Unless you are on a linux phone, you built yourself, with your own silicon chips, on a cell network you created, there is no "opsec." If you are on an android or appple product on a major carrier, your shit is compromised. Information security is an illusion.

Step 1 take an old phone. phicaly remove the GSM board from the device use WIFI only.

step 2 https://github.com/necro-nemesis/Lokiap-webgui build your own WIFI Access point or AP that tunnels trough lokinet

Step 3 use your imagination! :)

I heard of a guy that has one in his car and he pulls up to starbacks for a cofee and shitposting session on thedonald :0

This still doesn't fix the "major carrier" part since most people are running through Cox or Comcast.

0
heavy-hauler [S] 0 points ago +1 / -1

it routes trough onion routing network and its encrypted no metadata shared and major carrier link to the phone is severed when the GMS board is phisicaly removed from your device

So... your solution to avoiding government surveillance is to use TOR, a product of the US Navy?

0
heavy-hauler [S] 0 points ago +1 / -1

https://lokinet.org is the answer pede. not TOR

1
VA-Pede 1 point ago +1 / -0

You just said in the previous reply to use something that runs through TOR.
