I think soft cotton designer gaiters are a blessing. I fly often so I need to pull them up to get through checkpoints and get on the flights. But once I'm through the checkpoint, such as walking around freely in the airport, or once I'm sitting on the flight, I take it off. I've NEVER had any problems.

I also have it around my neck when I'm in stores in places where it's super masky and I'll occasionally pull it up to talk to sheepish people. Many times I just keep it in my pocket to use as needed. But I never ever EVER wear it outside, in the car, etc.

I think the gaiters actually look kinda cool and I wouldn't mind knocking someone out who assaulted me for wearing a Trump ha while wearing one and then they don't have me on camera so can't send me to the gulag.
