It was all a ruse. Washington left a hundred troops behind, each manning individual campfires. The Brits thought their prey awaited doom. Meanwhile, the Patriots did exactly what no one expected! They attacked Princeton and took the town. This was the battle that turned the public sentiment and saved the Republic.

Every single Pede would have been wrong. Every one of us would have lost the war and the Republic.

Notice - Washington didn't just win a battle in the war, he brought a decisive victory which turned the tide on public sentiment. It was public sentiment that drove us towards eventual victory.

I do not know what sneaky-ass things our military has planned. I suspect every single Pede will be completely freaking out and 100% certain that we have lost. Our enemy will be preening and giddy in their coming slaughter. I only pray the plan is a genius as on Jan 3, 1777.
