I say TX should send a "fuck off" letter to the federal government if it does secede. If there's one state that has held its own well it's Texas. If anything the federal government has probably prospered because of TX.
Unless the Federal Government is able to stop Texas from seceding, it really doesn't matter. They aren't able to force Texas to pay a nickel on debt if they can't even force Texas to pay taxes any longer.
