That doesn’t surprise me. We can mobilize and occupy very quickly. A place like DC has plans in place for everything you can think of.

The military can and will put up an entire barracks encampment overnight. This is nothing compared.

Easy enough to deploy a bunch of people to sleep at the federal buildings in DC. The supplies could be easily sourced from any military installation and there are a lot near DC. Understanding how our military works, it's not surprising what they've managed in short time with regards to personnel and equipment on site. What I dont understand is how anyone can justify the grandstanding. Unless...

Number one, our military is pretty efficient at deploying anywhere in the world and setting up shop.
Number two, they already have plans to do that. Wait... I guess I do agree...
Don't forget they did all of this in less than 2 weeks during apparently the worlds deadliest pandemic
