No, they will not.
To peacefully leave the US, they would need 3/4 of all other state legislatures to agree to allow them to leave and clearly that won't happen.
One is certain, us Texans KNOW how to be Assholes - when this is all said and done, 3/4 of all other state legislatures will WANT us to leave....
I do not think the northern states will care all that much, its the other southern states and neighbors that will never let Texas leave.
