That is actually odd.... I'm no geolographer (😆) but aren't they supposed to go along one fault or be localized... in some way? Also I know there was a 4.5 in Indonesia today.

It’s not odd, beyond the San Andreas fault, that plate continues up the west coast and there’s still “active” volcanoes near and along the plate line. Edit: history section is really interesting and sheds a bit more light on the volcanic activity in the cascades. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lassen_Volcanic_National_Park
