There's rumors the Insurrection Act was signed on the 9th. We know President Trump dislikes violence and war. I want to believe that he realises the left will lose their shit when the arrests start so he is moving to protect everyone before the shit starts.
My question is: If Pence had called for a 10 day pause to examine the evidence of the steal, would that have left time for all the above to take place and realisticaly start the arrests on or before the 20th? Is it possible Pence isn't the traitor we think he is?

Doubt. Most likely scenario at this point is this is all an overreaction to the 6th and we can foresee these military encroachments all across the nation for as long as the dems have a reason to keep them there. And they will always have a reason, that reason being covid.

My understanding is that the NG in DC are under POTUS control. So he along with Miller arranged this regardless of the pretense. Not Pelosi, Bowser, any Dems/Rinos or even Pence.

Then, on election night President Trump held his press conference and said words to the effect of "We don't want them dumping ballots at 4am." And that is exactly what happened. I believe Trump knew what was happening and already had his own plan.

I’ve been trying to find Trump’s speech from the protests on January 6th to clarify what I thought I heard him repeat twice to Pence. ‘It takes courage to do nothing...it takes courage to do NOTHING.’ I remember thinking he misspoke or I misheard.

Whether Pence is a traitor or not depends on what Trump does. Thanks to Pence, most of Congress is on the hook for knowingly certifying a fraudulent election.

Pence doesn’t vote in those proceedings and he was clear to point out that the “parliamentarian” advised him there was only one “certificate of vote”, which to me sounds like he gave Congress the rope it hanged itself with. It’s also dubious to me whether Pence could have kicked the can back to the state legislatures, and whether Trump actually wanted that in the first place.
Pence didn’t even bring up the disputing electors...it would be nice if he was secretly on our side but it doesn’t seem to be the case. Hard pill to swallow. Pence is now complacent in the crime. Pence had a lot of authority to do what was right and he didn’t. He also bumped elbows with Nancy and he was given a coin. I believe he’s one of them...but if I’m wrong I’d be fine with that.
