Being a GOOD teacher is not easy, but being a shit teacher and just doing the bare minimum requires almost zero brain function. Couple that with easy work hours and having the entire summer off, and it attracts a lot of lazy shitheads.
Of course, the private school career path is almost the exact opposite of this...... funny how that works
Teachers themselves have a saying, "you never see a rich teacher but you never see a poor retired teacher." I think that says a lot about their mentality.
Because its easy and it doesn't pay well.
