it always amazes me how people do not realize how it is all connected. Maybe your Company does X and you assume you are good. The companies that buy X from your company Can't sell their Y product or service anymore. So....<clock> tick tick tick tick tick....
I for one, never got a break last year. Always worked. Sadly, and it was a very hard decision, but I actually got a and took a new job and I start this week. The economy is fine...if you want to work.
The economy is NOT fine. Parts of it are still working yes. I do not want to give out anything that can help identify me. So I HAVE to keep this vague. I have someone in accounting at a Large corp. They are a food Corp. And he is NOT optimistic. He is Dreading the layoff paperwork that is about to come. in some areas they actually made money. But other areas is a bust and they lost money. But the COVID regulations WIPED out the money they were able to make.
I try to explain to people working from home is great until they replace you with 4 people in India making $3 a day. Then their eyes glaze over.
