This is all just theatrics. Ben Sasse knows what he is doing, and that is to demoralize republican and conservative voters. He doesn't believe he is the future of the GOP or the GOP has America's best interests at heart. He can talk about muh constitution, but anyone who actually wants to defend the constitution he calls a terrorist and wants to kill.
You don't need to demoralize 50% of the country, just 5% or so and elections(combined with voter fraud) become just more theatrics.
