The Italian satellite, for example, could circumvent the Undersea Atlantic crossing in their route into the networked machines in State Farm Arena, for example.
Satellite capability is a big deal because it means infiltration hacks can originate (for all intents and purposes) conceivably from anywhere within the US (or any other country). Chinese originating attacks can come from a comcast node in Omaha via a dish in some van connected to the grid through wifi from backdoors in Chinese made routers in a residential neighborhood.
That legitimate refrigeration truck out making seafood deliveries at 4 in the morning may ALSO be a mobile node for these satellites to network into the US grid.
Lots of people including our buddy Tim Pool have always scoffed at the whole Dominion election results being sent overseas to be manipulated. As crazy as the idea sounds I always came up with the conclusion that the reason the election results were sent overseas was to make it a little harder to trace.
