I noticed while watching the NFL (yeah I know) that every single commercial had at least one black person in it. Maybe it's just adverts on sports, I wouldn't know because I don't watch any other TV, but it's still really odd.
If you go off just the commercials I've seen you would think that the US population is majority black instead of less than 1/7th.
A study showed that foreigners and Americans think that upward of 25% of the US population is LGBT, and most say they believe it's that high because of the LGBT representation on tv and movies.
I have a friend in Finland who thought the black population in the US was close to 40%, when I told her it was 13%, she was stunned.
Been like that for years. Also blacks are ALWAYS the good guys in movies/tv -- and if they're the bad guy they are the "misunderstood' bad guy who isn't at fault for being so.
I don't have a problem with depicting blacks in a good light half the time. I have a problem with depicting whites in a bad light 100% of the time.

1 in 5 represent inter-racial couples - this is not a good or bad thing as people should be with who they want to be with regardless of factors like race...Nowhere but marketing, Hollywood, and pornography, can you overtly discriminate in hiring vs. talent. This is likely independently decided by companies who deceptively try to green-wash and race-wash to up the ‘evil’ profits the left seems to hate so much, but yet they but the product under the assumption they are doing something good.
The very few times I watch tv, I've noticed this every time. It's always mixed raced couples (white/black), or black couples. I saw two white couples. One from a local ad and one with mixed race children. Not only that, but they make the white person in the commercial a fool and the black couple is successful and happy.
Reminds me of the Stonetoss comic where someone is trying to sell burgers and they show off a poster of a black and white person kissing being the main focus, with the burger below them.
