In a military that operates Raptor stealth fighters, A-10 tank busters, B-52 bombers and Harrier jump jets, the U.S. Navy’s placid-looking E-6 Mercury, based on the 707 airliner, seems particularly inoffensive. But don’t be deceived by appearances. Though the Mercury doesn’t carry any weapons of its own, it may be in a sense the deadliest aircraft operated by the Pentagon, as its job is to command the launch of land-based and sea-based nuclear ballistic missiles.
Also just picked up another E6B that has been running with its transponder off and on all morning. WORM99.
Found a second military VIP C37B over the UK. It came out of Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar. It is an American military jet, so I doubt they are bringing the King of Qatar to the US in this. What would be the point of this run? Lots of activity over Europe altogether.
No activity over Japan or really even the west coast of the US. Seems very suspect.
I think we are pulling military back to the US from bases around the world. There are cargo planes and trop transports leaving in a hurry from bases all over Europe and Africa.
Not sure. Last week, it was running with the transponder off during parts of its flight, so idk where it took off from. But it was on the east coast. Then it flew to Tinker AFB and did some local routes for a few days. Now it is head into the Gulf, likely to Florida or Georgia based on its current track. It has gone quite a ways to head back to Tinker, but anything is possible.
Edit: Its way into the Gulf. That's unusual. They are nearing Mexican airspace.
A C130 is headed to DC from the Minnesota Air National Guard base at the Minneapolis St Paul International Airport. Its near Philly right now. A second C130 is lining up on the runway right now. Wtf...
Edit: A third just took off from DC after coming from the same Air NG base earlier today. Troop Transports at JBA by the look of it. Lots of troops. Obviously not for us since we aren't showing up to riot.

A Gulfstream C37B is on route to DC from Savannah Air National guard. Its a VIP transport jet for POTUS, though they have 5 in total for that purpose and one used in a Looking Glass role

Seems like a shit load of transports for a Sunday morning
Snow just went dark

This isn't good.
I see a bunch of C-17's out of Europe

I'm sort of surprised that the ADS is on
Forgive my ignorance, please, but what's the E6?
E6 Mercury. It is called the Looking Glass because it is a flying command center, capable of running the US military from the air.

Thanks!
