Does this fall into the "So Ugly, it's Cute" category?

Nah. That's reserved exclusively for Hi-Point

And the chiappa rhino!

The rhino is a practical design.

I love the idea. Any design where the engineers thought outside the box gets my attention.

That’s how I feel about my Hi Point carbine. It’s ugly but reliable and works good against coyotes. The four legged variant, I’m nowhere near Mexico.

It’s nice to see more options for the 5.7x28 round.. I doubt this will help the prices of the P90 and five seven come down, but it’s nice to see options. We need more firearm innovation right now.. it would certainly help meet the neat of another 10 millions guns sold in America in 2021

Needs a buffer tube mount.

Edit: now that I think about it, a buffer tube mount and pistol brace with a slightly longer barrel, pistol grip, and reflex sight. It wouldn’t look too bad.

I see at least 3 points of failure.
