If I recall correctly, all he did was post a heart emoticon about it. I believe the context of that was not so much him endorsing it, but rather him gloating that some other top trending topic he disliked (probably Trump related) had been defeated by the then top trending signal app.

Aside from this, which alternative to signal do you suggest?
