I just wonder what the African American community will do when they're completely displaced by the new-wave Hispanics. The democrats know a good quarter of the black community shifted towards Trump, so they need to replace those voters with new blood.

But I'm sure the black community will LOVE to hear about their privilege compared to the oppression of the Dreamers and the newly-immigrated Central Americans...

It’s a matter of sheer numbers. Hispanics are already a larger minority than African Americans. If the Biden administration grants amnesty to millions more, their voting block becomes far more powerful. The Democratic Party won’t need the black community anymore, and they’ll need to pander to the larger group.

Then again, not like voting really matters anymore, so they can already do what they want.
