If the duly elected lawmakers make it a law, its the law. You don't get to interpret the law. Courts do that. You can disagree and you can try to overturn the courts and you can work to elect pro 2nd Amendment law makers but what is the most assinine thing to do is to blame cops for enforcing the law. It's their job.

I also take offense to you saying cops "mindlessly" enforce the laws. There are very very few cops that are mindless about how they handle life and death situations. If there's an error that they make, it's that they are too lax in enforcement.

I peeled the thin blue line flag off my car.

Fuck the police, they're part of the problem.

They are no more the problem than the clerk at the big box retailer store that sells you the product made in China.

The clerk at the store doesn’t threaten your life with deadly force to get you to buy Chinese products, that’s on you.

The cops are threatening your life unless you buy chinese products either. So what's your problem?

I'll give you a hint. If a cop says "put the gun down". you should put the gun down. If you're in a blue city, you might get shot anyway and no one in a blue city will give a darn. The moral of the story is, move somewhere that respects your rights and then work to defend your rights like a blue city is about to annex your house.

You are not going to win in a blue city. If you haven't figured it out by now, let me clue you in. Any and all conservatives are going to lose in a Democrat controlled city. There is no justice or equality in front of the law in blue cities. Democrats have one, and only one principle, they get to always beat the rap and conservatives will always get the book thrown at them. If you want the book thrown at you, well, you just march right on down to a blue city and start yelling at the cops because you will be hit with the biggest and longest jail time they can possibly give you and a Democrat can do 100 times what you do and get away with it scott free. if you have a problem understanding that our politics have created two separate and distinct justice systems in this country by now, you are not paying attention. As for me, I'd rather work on boxing blue cities in so they can't encroach on my and mine and I do that by keeping them and their politicians and their bratty indoctrinated kids out of my area.

The Nazis were “duly elected lawmakers” and “just following orders” was not an acceptable defense for the SS. The cops take an oath to defend the constitution before anything else.

It doesn’t matter if some DA says the cops need to go and confiscate the guns of people lawfully defending their life and property. (Like what happened to the McCloskeys) It’s not a lawful order because the 2nd amendment says that right SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

If a cop wants to take orders from “duly elected officials” at the expense of the constitution, then fuck them.

If some duly elected lawmaker makes a law that everyone who posts on this website needs to be rounded up and their entire family killed, are you still going to support the pieces of shit that show up at your door to enforce that law?

Oh, good one. Have you been in a coma since mid-2016 or something? Try using that one on a leftist these days and they’ll just call you a Nazi and laugh you off the internet.

Bringing up the Nazis is never more relevant than when talking about people “just following orders”

I'm not using it on a lefty. I'm using on a conservative that seems to think Nuremberg Trials were some sort of criminal judicial proceeding based on the U.S. Constitution.

I have news for you, you historically illiterate creature, "following orders" and "following policy" is 100% accepted as a defense by all government employees including teachers, cops, bureaucrats and capital pages by virtually every single court in the United States of America. In fact, not following orders can lead to criminal prosecutions. But you just rely on the tiniest shred of credibility from a 80 year old defense by commanding officers in the largest adjudicated mass murder in history while being tried in makeshift court by the winners of the most devastating and bloody war in all of human history, because that's totally what regularly happens in a city of a quarter million on daily basis.
