What makes it obvious to me that we are being set up by the FBI and Big Tech to justify having our free speech rights taken from us? Oh I dunno, probably the fact that everything they are accusing us of are all things that I don't see on this site, or if I do see it, it's in NEW posted by a handshaker and thus promptly removed by our modgods, the rules of the site explicitly prohibit those things, AND the majority of the posts on the subject are telling people not to be violent or attend these honeypot "protests". This is a disgusting display of authoritarianism by our government, and yes, it IS the government doing it. I'm done with this "PrIvAtE CoMpANy" bullshit. They work for the fucking government. DIRECTLY. And they're fucking us.

😠

We've been watching academia and the media chip away at the idea of free speech for a while now. You didn't think that was for show, did you? The people almost got in the way, and they're not going to take any chances on the free exchange of ideas anymore.

I've been aware of that for years. And yes you're right, they are now taking it to the next level to finally make sure we can't communicate. I just went on Minds this morning and saw I had a notification on a comment, but I couldn't view the comment because Google made Minds REMOVE commenting from the app in order to stay on the store. It's like since the Twitter purge, all the other tech companies have been emboldened to do the same shit. I believe it's coordinated between them, of course, but I know that can't be proven unless some meeting minutes get leaked. They're already trying to get ahead of the antitrust allegations by saying it only makes sense for the platforms to do these things and they all independently chose to do it at the same time.

The worst part of all of this, is that whereas they're stifling free speech in the name of preventing violence, but by doing this, they're ultimately spearheading a chain of events that will inevitably lead to violence. You can't just silence millions of people and then expect them to shut up and not react negatively. It's clear that this is what they WANT.

Claims of violence -> justifiy silencing of free speech -> leads to violence -> justify violence against the people and mass incarceration/executions of political dissidents.

They've wanted us dead for decades and they're making their move.

Perhaps the next attempt at a free society will learn from our mistakes.

Hopefully they're aware of our mistakes as written from our perspective, and not from the perspective of the communists who will write the history books.

More likely, they will simply ban books in favor of "environmentally responsible" media that can be changed when necessary.
