Well the lack of sleep I could see that. But idling doing nothing is not healthy either. Why would they go out their way to demoralize them? My son is no longer in the military I will have to ask him for some insight. It is almost like they are punishing these guys for supporting the country and doing their job.
Couple of my buddies from my old unit got sent to the border last year or whenever. Lodging was shit and there wasn’t enough food for everyone.
Part of being in the Army is getting treated like shit, doing things that make no sense all the time or specifically to look like you’re doing something and saying roger for all of it.
So nah, this is totally normal behavior from my experience. But I was infantry. Desk jobs are treated like humans for the most part. Sucks to suck for the non-combat people there getting a taste of what life in the infantry is like.
I have no problem with them marching, idling isnt good either. but theres no reason they shouldnt be allowed to sleep properly. zero reason, they are not short on numbers.
there is a much larger game being played that ppl dont realize. so many of the politicians have inside deals with the chinese. china does military training with canada, within canada, and there are a far number of chinese troops in canada east/west coast. EU just did a deal with China. Also, it should be noted that many of our news media people went to events in china, which boil down to spreading pro china news.
CNN achors were even talking about wanting to deplatform newsmax and OAN for "hate."
At the end of the day, the election was completely rigged and the media covered it up, among many other coverups, they will remove conservative media, biden will undo most of trumps policy, paving the way for china to continue its economic tyranny. If there is no platform that allows free speech/conservative platform... you understand what happens.
So if the concern is that members of the nG have sympathy for trump, they are being reeducated as we speak.
My son says there is some sort of base 75 miles north of where we live it is not a nato base like we thought. He does not know but thinks there are chinese troops there. This area is wide open no way to stop anyone coming through. He says he heard the other day a chinese guy was somewhere along the border was caught. If chinese are going to be coming down it will be right on the road not far from our place. At this point I am not sure what the hell is going to happen but I hope to hell he is wrong about that base.

My son was army reserve. He was mechanic. But he got out on medical. He doesn't talk much about his experience. He talks about anything else.
