Hosting service was a difficult step, except they could have just built their own onsite servers if it came to it. The problem is that Parler built their service using AWS cloud infrastructure tools and now they must redevelop the entire platform to function without Amazon's APIs.
Yes and as a web developer, I know how tedious that process is going to be. It's nice that they found a hosting service though, because self-hosting a massive social media website like that would be incredibly difficult. I think they will be better off for it though, because if they do a good job, the site will be more secure and perhaps even faster.

I graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering, but I found that I like the software & networking side of things better, so I switched to web developing...and I eventually made it into software and IT consulting and now I help major companies monitor and manage their digital infrastructure effectively and efficiently.
