  1. They can’t determine who voted GOP, they shredded all military Trump votes.
  2. Remember when they went with the “Trump demanded personal loyalty” charade?

Fair enough. Though it says the request was refused. Meanwhile, confiscating ammo was apparently done. Though I had heard only about 20% ever had live ammo to begin with.

I'm sorry, but being told to walk around with an empty weapon has to be the most humiliating thing ever.

Did it all the time in Kuwait and Iraq. Situation dictates what condition the weapon is carried in. Still had full magazines on person though

When my brother was in Bosnia, all of the ammo was counted out and back in every day. No one wanted the hassle of coming up short, so everyone taped up their magazines as soon as they got them. Had they ever been attacked, they would have needed to drop their magazines, remove two strips of electrical tape from the feed end, and re-insert.

It would be. When I was in Panama, on guard duty protecting the ammo bunkers we were given an old shotgun that rattled so hard it likely would have blown up in our face. That was bad enough, but this? I’m not sure if the NG during the L.A. riots had live ammo or not. Probably not. And I’ve seen video of Israeli guards walking around Jerusalem with empty magazine wells. That one REALLY shocked me. I hope they at least had loaded magazines on their hip.

It's still good for being a metal staff. Plus, being NG, it's not any different than any other time they train with weapons.

DOD wide, 95% of all training is carrying around an unloaded weapon. That's why everyone packs knives for personal protection.
