I'm on the spectrum and this is one of my "special interests", plus I've got a genius level IQ, can read at high speeds, and received instruction on how to dismantle newspapers' weasel wording before I could drink. I've absorbed and retained more political knowledge than most people will be exposed to in their lifetimes.
Because of the population's childlike views about the world - and I'm sorry, I completely blame the fairer sex for this one - it's become necessary to operate politics from behind a veil, so that sensibilities aren't offended by hard choices. But secrecy and deception breed incompetence and corruption.
I want my Roman revival. I want universal military training, I want the worship of beauty and strength and excellence to return. I want to feel authentically represented by anyone in politics. I want to feel a sense of beauty and majesty looking at our architecture and our cities.
