I found some stuff. Some of it sounds pretty crazy. I cannot believe that 9/11 was about stealing gold, but I could believe that some insiders knew and took advantage. If insiders knew and let it happen, it would have been because of Saudi ulterior motives. Bush, of course, was always a fake conservator, and now we know he's part of the swamp, but it's still very difficult for me to believe that very many knew - that's always the problem with conspiracies, the more had to know, the less likely all would stay quiet.
I agree with you that the impetus behind 911 was not gold tucked away in the basement of WTC 7. It may be as simple as Silverstein took advantage of an opportunity that fell in his lap.
Muslim terrorists may have been allowed to think it was all their idea and doing, while they were actually used as a patsie. I have no way of knowing, but that fits the people we're talking about.
In terms of how many in the US actually had to know to be able to pull it off, who else besides Brennan? If you start with him, it's harder to add any other US Official. Not that I'm saying I know he acted without US assistance, just that it's an interesting starting point
Besides Brennan some FBI people, specifcally some seventh floor people (like Mueller), the kind of people that could stop agents from looking into the flight school reports. That makes it a conspiracy of sorts, but you know, they could say, if pressed, that they knew about the hijackers but not what they wanted to do, and they were observing them and oopsie, which would be totally plausible, and it would even be plausible that CIA and FBI each had no idea what the other knew. As it was they didn't end up having to admit they knew anything about them.
