I wouldn't doubt from the 60's after JFK, but that's around the Korean war?

Nam. US troops mostly pulled out of Korea by '54, so it's possible that the first Q statements were from Korean vets after returning Stateside.

I should clarify. Officially our troops were (mostly) out of Korea by '54, and not in Nam til 65.

What I meant was who or whatever Q was in the 50's could well have been vets of the Korean war. Pierce and Honeycutt joking, lol.

My real point is people here talking like Q is some recent phenomenon are more misguided than the people they relish demonizing.
